Strange ramblings of a fiber freak
I had no idea it was so pretty...
grow cotton grow. Then stop so Phibergal can pick you.Hey what you going to make with you fresh new cotton?
This cotton is slated for some tshirts for us. Fiberguy gets the brown and I get the green. I always have a warp on for dishtowels too. It is the perfect way to use up the ends of the bobbins when you ply and have a bit left over. I like thin singles for dishtowels and love random colors.
Oh how I love to weave dish towels. My seeds are safely tucked away till next year. I. Can't. Wait. Oh how I love harvest time. In so, so many ways.!
I hope to grow cotton next summer here in the Mojave desert. Couple questions: a. where did you get green seeds and b. are your plants perennials? Please email me back - I could ask you about Ravelry. I couldn't find your email on your blog... Thanks! Ann
